Calvin Yoder

Calvin Yoder works in a contracted position for the Peace Region Forage Seed Association and SARDA Ag Research. He provides extension services and conducts applied research studies specifically on turf and forage seed crops. He is available to growers, agronomists, retailers, crop protection companies and seed trade companies for one on one consultations. Much of Calvin’s recent applied research work involves the testing of herbicides, growth regulators and fungicides on turf and forage seed crops in order to generate data for user requested minor use registrations. He is also involved in grass and clover seed variety testing trials and a number of nitrogen fertility studies.

Calvin has lived and worked in the Peace Region for 35 years and resides just south of Spirit River. He has a strong relationship with growers, seed companies, crop protection companies, crop advisors and forage seed commissions not only in the Peace Region but across western Canada.
